    Default 700x32 recommendations

I recently bought a Trek Domane. May be my most favorite bike ever....after owning a fair number of spcustom steel and Ti bikes. Anyway, the bike comes with 700x32 Bontrager tires. They are ok but I misss the soft feel of my Vttoria Corsas which are only available up to 28. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a favorite 700x32 road tire?

My favorite 700 X 32mm tire is a 28 Conti GP4KII. It measures 31mm on my 17mm rim. They are swifter than my Stampede Pass tires, and equally damp.

So far a good experience with Panaracer Gravel King 700x38. I believe they make a 32 as well. Running them tubeless.

I think the bontrager are supposed to be decent... maybe try dropping an extra 5psi?
I am very curious about this too, as my Spectrum ti has enough space for a 30-31mm actual I think. I was not a fan of the GP4000 in 25mm, but think the massively oversized GP4kII in 28 is an intriguing option. The smooth Panaracer GK is also on my list. There is a whole other thread about another panaracer tire : Panaracer Race A Evo 3 Gravel 32mm Tire (not a race tire, not a gravelking tire)
    Could be useful.

Second this recommendation. They ride so nicely at 60 psi. Surprisingly quick too.

Also, the Trek Domane is one of the few production road bike designs I actually suspect might make a significant difference. The way roads are these days, at least in the US, I bet it actually makes for nicer (and perhaps minutely faster) rides.

I 3rd the nomination for the GP4ks2 in 28s. Also, have used the challenge strada Bianca at 33c, a good tire, but a little more fragile, lasts about 1k miles (I run in front with a clement/donnely lgg 32 for winter).

    Gravel Kings. The smooth ones.
Or the Schwalbe S-Ones if they come in that size. I had 30s and they ran a tiny bit narrow.

...while suffering less side wall rips and costing half.

A tubeless alternative is the Schwalbe Pro One that run 32 on a standard rim, seal without goo, and can be mounted by hand and inflated with a pocket pump. Actually, the Pro One turns out be wider than the S One.

Schwalbe Pro One in 28mm will measure close to 30mm depending on the rim. It's an awesome tire.

I'm currently rolling WTB Exposure 30mm. They measure just under 35mm on rims with internal width of 23mm.

There is some good info here too.

    I 2nd this and 4th the GP4K II- both are effectively 31-32.
Schwabe Pro One tubeless rides fast even though it doesnt feel fast. It is pretty bulletproof.

I've heard that Hutchinson Sector tubeless are very nice. The person saying it thought they rolled better than Compass and were more durable. I can't vouch for it, but it's a data point. Hutchinson Sector tubeless clincher at World Class Cycles

If you're cool running tubeless give the Goodyear Eagle All-Seasons a try.

Panaracer GK is my go-to tire.

Have had 32's on the Waterford, 43's on the Ahearne, and 38's on the Lynskey.

I have a set of Conti GP4Seasons on my commuter in 700x32 that I like quite a bit.

I found the ride of Conti GP 4000S II incredibly harsh.

My current favourites are Fairweather Traveler 32s (also made by Panaracer). Running them tubeless.
