Parkhotel Valkenburg is now suing Lorena Weibes who in turn has found out that she is now bound to the team until the transfer period at least. Meanwhile Sofie de Vuyst is still out with a positive A sample waiting for the B results(?) I think the team only has three members?
Instead of paying lawyers just give Weibes a raise maybe? Just seems like a mess.

Most people wait for the muse to turn up. That's terribly unreliable. I have to sit down and pursue the muse by attempting to work.

After van Aert got away with breaking his contract ,Wiebes must have thought she could too.
I bet as a sudden world #1 she will earn 5% of the male #1 so there is that.

Winder rode a very smart race I thought. Picked the stage to make her move and then otherwise stayed on her main rivals. Riding like a national champ!

Qunintana looks - accepting it is kind of weird to be saying this about a professional cyclist - really quite lean for this time of the year.

He certainly wrecked some people on Ventoux the other day.

Whoa - watching some of Eurosport’s coverage of Volta ao Algarve and they have Adam Blythe doing color. He’s really good. Funny, relaxed and spot on when it comes to predicting impending tactical moves. Several times he picked out movements that betrayed an upcoming tactical maneuver. And better than that, he explained why it was a good or bad move. He sort of acts like an armchair DS. So and so should go now if he wants to reach the break - and so and so would go. Really pretty fun to listen to.

Italy just went from 3 to 132 cases of coronavirus. Cases are in Lombardy, Veneto, Piemonte and Emilia-Romagna. Schools are being shut in Veneto until March.

We'll see I guess whether this affects any of the Italian races, like Milan-San Remo.

I heard MSR might be cancelled anyway because of a serious landslide on the run-in to San Remo. It would be a shame, my favorite race of the year.

If it continues on at this rate, there will be a good chance those races will be cancelled. Which, will probably be the least of our worries.

Omloop this Saturday! There is no “early season” anymore. A win is a big result.
Hope the Belgians did not catch up with my vpn use.

Sporza seems to still be VPN agnostic. Play (is that the right name?) put something in place that disallows.
