    Jazzed up some XL compact lugs
    cooked them up
    off on the morrow to Joey for colore
    Martin collected his planing bike {needs another mudguard stay}

    Thanks Dave. I felt OK posting it here it because every lug vise we ever sold was made by him. In fact, up until he got sick, (two weeks after that picture was taken in '07), every lathe turned part on every tool/fixture we made was turned by him, even the washers. Lots of builders out there are using tools that had my Dad's hands on them and that's a fine tribute.

    What a great tribute Don. It makes me very proud to use your 'Anvil' lug vise. I consider it an honor that your father made it.

    What a fantastic photo of him as well. I'll always remember it and think of him when I use the vise.

    Sorry for your loss.

    you told me that once & i have thought about it every day since i saw that on Phred. i am honored to have a lasting testimony to your Dad's badass-ness. i grew up with men that looked like that. button down shirts & that same gaze. sorry for your loss, Don. Steve.
