It came out perfectly, dude. Can't wait to see it in person, maybe tripod descending some sketchy dirt roads?

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

    Yep. That's Willy's B-Road.

Oh, and the pink paint is full on hyper-color. When I brushed the mud off, there were lighter pink spots. Then I left it in the sun to dry after washing and there was a light pink "shadow" where the chainring and FD blocked the sun. Then I brought it inside and it went back to normal. Very cool stuff.

Actually it reminds me of early Ibis steel Mojos.... No wonder i felt so connected when i saw the pics of this bike. Not only the paint but how the compact shape looks under the rider; and those swoopy stays are tasty. Its a bike i would buy out of impulse.

that last, mostly blurred photo really does it for me.

cool ride, good choice. you can see the paint glow when there are other things in the same focal length. pretty crazy paint.

    Love love love the fade.

Did Nate comment on the durability of the neon colors? I remember talking to Crumpton and he said that modern day neon colors fade quickly. I'm debating colors for a project.

I've asked a couple of painters if they would repaint a Serotta CSi to match this neon fade, and they both said they wouldn't do it because they were concerned about fading.

Matt's bike looks sort of like the inverse of this bike, but without the green logos with yellow outline.

Serotta had some pretty hot fades bitd:

So did Klein. Here's my favorite:

It would be cool to get Firefly to anodize a ti frame to look like that...

Yeah, that bike was the one that prompted my investigation (along with DCTs Crumpton). Real curious to hear Nate's take on the colorfastness!
