Ha, yes, there was no waiting between delivery and assembly; I didn't want to wait any longer than I had to. Mike certainly knows what he is doing.

Thanks, Angry! The stem was made by Eric Estlund. It's a beauty.

Matt, your Zank has established an aesthetic and functional threshold that is unparalleled.

Very nice work Mike and matt.

My first real bike as a kid was a Purple Schwinn Stingray with a sparkly seat and handle bar grips.
So I'm doing the full circle thing.
    It's going to be great!

    Making some progress on this.
Should be completed in a week or so.
I'm not digging the Ciussi cages for this, so I ordered some matte carbon Arundel Mandibles.
Not the best picture but it's been kind of rainy here there past few days.

I'm sure you are all getting tired the partial build posts. So I will close this out with a few snapshots from today's shakedown ride.

i have now put a couple hundred miles on this bike and can confirm it's awesome sauce-ee-ness. very good power transfer, stiff in all the right ways and comfortable for all day riding. all the miles so far have been on these handbuilts with veloflex 25c tires.

The weather we've been having in the NYC area has been phenomenal. All of these pics are from the catskills - sweet stuff!
