Lovely job. Are the logos decals or paint? Love the Columbus logo especially. (If you have a build thread on this, I'd love to see how it went.)

The Cervelo C3 I had developed cracks (in the head tube, of all places), so I was offered a warranty replacement - because I loved my old R3s, I decided to go with one of those to see how the latest iteration compares:

My 2012 R3 is still one of my top 3 bikes. This is every bit as good as I remember that being, but with better tyre clearance. I like it a lot, but it might be too aggressive for me fit-wise so I'm not sure how long it'll last in my (limited) rotation.

The colour is actually a really dark blue with red. I really like the blue (except for the fact that it doesn't photograph very well) but I really dislike the red. Can't win them all I guess. If I keep it I might get a local vinyl signs place to cover up the red bits with a silver, pink or orange or something. The red does match the Super Record kit very nicely, but that won't be staying on this (12v Chorus will be the go).

I hand built this frame... Lugged kit from one of the tube kit suppliers.
Put 50 miles on it with a rattle can paint job just to make sure of no joint failures or cracks.
Then had it stripped down for powder coating and put it back together.
Rides like a caddy.... Not to shabby of a job if I say so myself.

Not mine, but a great blog of the out-of-the-ordinary. Check out that fork. It was done on purpose. What purpose remains a mystery.

    Default Serena

Im confident you wont see another Serena leaning on a fence in Otahuhu, NZ. As Jerk would say, the wheels are in the right place.

A very beautiful reminder of simpler times. Everything that is needed and nothing that is not. And drillium before sillium.

    Another eye-sweet machine, Benson.

And who doesn't like a barn board fence with a peek-a-boo view?

Stunning bike. And them wheels. Quite probably the last surviving pair of 28-hole Record Strada XL rims in the wild.

    Default Mikkelsen

Bought from dubrat, a nice home for some Mavic & Phil Wood, and short enough a for a 14cm stem.

Wonderful. Always wanted a Ryan. And a Pereira, now that I think about it. I will get a Breadwinner some day if they are making them when I want a custom.

@AngryScientist What's going on with the rear brake? Is that an old school booster?

yes, added for style points, but it really does stiffen up the rear and braking out back is rock solid.
