The wheel is actually just barely in the dropouts. When pulled up snug against the dropout adjuster screws, the wheelbase is lengthened somewhat, so if you were not aware of this, Saab's comment would be spot-on. I believe the bike to be from 1967 and unlike my other 60's De Rosa, this one fits me.

The saddle is an Ottusi-modified Brooks, so you know that this wasn't originally purchased by a weekend rider. I am the second owner and the original owner raced with reasonable success as an amateur in the Milan area in the 60's and early 70's.

De Rosa was not exporting to the US when this bike was made, so unless somebody went to pick up a bike in Cusano Milanino, this was in effect a Europe and likely Italy only graphic. My other 1960's De Rosa built frame is labeled as a Chiorda as it was used by the Salvarani team that was sponsored by Chiorda.

Default De Rosa 35th anniversary bike from 1988

Since the De Rosa bikes are coming out, here is another one of mine. It was built in 1988 to celebrate 35 years of framebuilding by Ugo De Rosa.

I can't help you with the RS, but I will be taking orders again soon!

This particular course seems to flood when it pours for a whole day. I should probably take a canoe. Check out this run up!
