Bode is Sully's sister's pup from her first litter and is 6 months old.
He already outweighs Sully and reminds me of a small polar bear ;)

"Dog". 95 pounds of insanity. Seriously he needs help. Answers to Dog,Pik,Pickle,Dumbass,Hey. Clocked him at 40MPH on the motorcycle once. He can keep it up for about 100 yards before being distracted by a Hummingbird breaking wind 2 counties away.

    This..................

    ......grew into this.

Great timing for this thread to come back. Just got into an argument with my girlfriend about my dog. She just doesn't seem to get it. I could lock the two of them in the trunk of a car for an hour; I know which one would be happy to see me when I opened it. That, my friends, is love.

Our cat Belle. Loves to lounge around and be as warm as possible. The best.

I have always wanted to bring my dog when going for a bike. The choice was either have the leash tied on to the handle bars but i reckoned that it was a little dangerous if he deviates path.

Another is to put a basket in front for him to stay on, which was never a choice if you would ask me. I had him undergo off the leash training but it is not quite working for us.

A Burly Tail Wagon would be another option.

Awesome GoldenDoodle. We have Standards. Neither were made for the snow. I had to lay Sully on thick towels after each romp to drain. Labs are made for snow and water...poodles...not so much.

No doubt, the balls of snow/ice that get stuck in her fur are insane. We/she learned this the hard way during our first winter with her--she came out to play and an hour or two later she stopped running so smoothly and seemed to be in pain when moving. We quickly got her inside and realized that the snow/ice chunks on her legs/belly had actually grown so large they were beginning to create a block of snow/ice so as she was extending her front legs to run she was pulling hair out of her rear legs etc. It was crazy--we had to get a hair dryer out and work her over. As you can see from the picture, it doesn't seem to have left many bad memories when it comes to playing in the snow though!

Sogn has been really pumped about the return of liquid water lately. He spent most of today's hike breaking ice.

Pics of the last two fosters we've had in our house. Both have gone on to loving homes.

Makes me very happy to hear about people taking the time and expense to care for dogs in order for them to go to new homes where they will be happy. Good karma for you!
