    Default Vendetta Cycles

We just delivered this to a very nice gentlemen in Bend, Oregon.

Dazza Slant-6 lugs, Columbus tubing, and really curvy stays made for a fun project.

Oh, yeah, gold pearl helps too.

Conor, pardon the dust. The bike is too delish NOT to have in our gallery. I moved the thread and added some text to your thread title. Excuse me if this was presumptive.

    SWEET!

Tell me about these Slant Six lugs. I'm guessing they are designed for sloping top tube lugged bikes? Are they suitable for a lugged mountain bike? Hmmm . . .

    :)

No problem, but I was a little confused at first. :) I've seen other bike pics in the general discussion area but maybe they were more related to build sequence pictures. I'll figure it out - I'm a quick study.

Yes, exactly right. The lugs have a built in angle of 6 degrees to accommodate sloping top tube frame designs. This helps in a variety of designs/fits and can be used as an aesthetic choice. There are two sets available. One "regular oversize" for modern tubing size designs and another one in "double oversize" for mountain bikes, etc.

    John,

Everything is in primer and should have color soon. There's a lot to do with frame, fork, stem, fenders, racks, etc., if it's any consolation your wheels will be the same as these. Phil Wood SLR hubs, Black mavic rims, double butted spokes and green alloy nipples.

If I remember correctly you wanted your nipples to stand out. :)

    Default Vendetta Cycles: Blackberry

This was recently shipped to England.

The customer requested a color based on the 1970's British Leyland color - Blackberry - but he wanted it deep and richer.

Always wanting to oblige we worked with the painter to develop a custom House of Kolor Kandy paint job that is truly different in different shades and types of light. In direct sunlight it's a dark red - the Blackberry color from the paint chip. In overcast situations it's purple or plum or aubergine or even black in dark lighting conditions.

Hand-built wheels, Campagnolo, Phil Wood, Chris King, Dazza Stem kit, and Drew's stainless seat post round out the build.

Your bike was the one which inspired me to put my name in the queue. It is now at paint and should be ready in the next couple of weeks. :) Beautiful bikes Conor and Garrett.

    Default Sally's New Bike

Here are a few shots of Sally and her new road bike. She drove down to pick it up a few weeks ago.
