    Super nice!

A couple questions for you- does the Shimano cassette play well with Sram 12s? Also, what is that headset top cap?

Shimano and Sram 12 speed cassette spacing is the same. It's pretty common in the mtb world to use Shimano cassettes with a Sram derailleur due to the price difference. For best results you want to keep the cassette and chain as a pair - in my case both Shimano XTR items. I had originally planned to replace the derailleur, cassette and chain with Xplr but I've been really happy with what I've got so left it alone.

The headset topcap and compression plug are from the newer Cannondale bikes. I turned the topcap in the lathe to match it's outside diameter with my stem's and took a shallow cut off the top to make it more silverer. The Cannondale system works really well and is super light.

Beautiful...I've always dreamed a owning a Ritchey built by the man himself.
Riding has to be fun, and part of the fun has to be that you’re not worried about having too much technology on your bike. - Tom Ritchey

This one has had a few upgrades since I posted it last year.
Tristan kindly modified some Keywin Ti pedal spindles, and shortened a rear Mavic hub axle to 120oln so I could lace a set of 28h Mavic hubs to a pair of Pacenti Brevet rims.
The new crankarms turn on a Phil Ti BB.
Conti GP5000S TR get me to the coffee shop faster.

Love the color. Is that an old Salsa stem, or some other cromoly option?

    Salsa
There is a place near my work that will put colour matched paint in a rattle can, so I painted the stem and exorcised some rust spiders.
