    I bought something called jbweld steelstick as well as a shim. After I got that bonded, I aligned the dropouts and Now the axles sit securely, and the wheel sits totally straight in the fork.

    After that, you can get the dropouts hammered with fine art, to give you back the right fit for the wheel axle. Or use JB-Weld and a piece of 0.05/0.10mm 304 stainless, I've done this many times on worn-out carbon rear dropouts.

    You're welcome.
    Bear in mind it's not a permanent solution, you are to check the shim is there every time you take the wheel off. Ain't gonna come off that easy, when done properly, but you want a belt&braces approach to this.
