Wow, I did not know about this stem, but that pic makes me want one because it is cool looking! Then I was all like, "grump, looks heavy," but then I looked it up and it is about the same as all the other stems! What's not to like, I may need to purchase!

I get it shipped from Japan for about $65. Not cheap, but it is really well made.

Love it. Very smooth and stable.

The Outback leans more towards a road geometry from my understanding (my first gravel bike), but that is plus for me.

My favorite Nitto is still the Rhonda from Sim Works but this is a nice alternative.

Wow, that Rhonda is nice too. Any idea what it weighs? doesn't seem to be listed on the site

My roadbikes are standardized on premium Ritchey WCS bars and stems.
My mountainbikes have premium Ritchey WCS bars, stems, and seatposts.
Happy with them. The components are durable, reliable, and look good.

    Yes, itís a dangerous place.

On topic: I covet the Rhonda but for 73-degree reasons I run a Ritchey stem.

What does it look like in its current state? Just curious.

It is in a pretty sad state. A lot of chips, and scratches.

Still a bit of work to do, but build up has started. Wheels are placeholders for now.
