So which size (and color) is it?

"As an homage to the EPOdays of yore- I'd find the world's last remaining pair of 40cm ergonomic drop bars.....i think everyone who ever liked those handlebars in that shape and in that width is either dead of a drug overdose, works in the Schaerbeek mattress factory now and weighs 300 pounds or is Dr. Davey Bruylandts...who for all I know is doing both of those things." - Jerk
If it’s a 54 or 56 can I call dibs?
give out but don't give up
I've got a purple 54 I wouldn't mind not having anymore
Hey, if it's a 52 for sale, let me know! :)
lancaster has some great road riding too, good covered bridges action out that way.
I have a 56 in Black. Y'all can pry it from my cold dead hands.
Same for me. 56 in purple that I’ll never let go. Still gets used a bunch.

Jacob, I can't believe your purple Skeletor hasn't sold yet. That purple ano is so sweet.
I've been putting a good handful of miles on my lately. Usually, I'm riding 25c Veloflex tubs...
...but I tried something a little different this weekend. I'm not a huge gravel guy, but I recently picked up a set of 26c GravelKing SKs (I didn't realize they made them this small!) with the thought of tagging onto a few of the local gravel rides that have been popping up around here. The few gravel roads that are close by are pretty tame, with most sections being relatively hard packed. These tires were perfect and even handled the looser patches that I intentionally looked for without a problem. They also rolled surprisingly well on asphalt.

Spooky, Mickey, and the Skeletors all popped up right when I was getting into cycling. It was just the right attitude for me. I'll always have a soft spot for these bikes.
Same. I grabbed mine halfway through my racing "career" and it quickly became my favorite bike and one of two I'm never likely to get rid of. I'm probably never going to race a crit ever again so I don't "need" the surgical level of handling. I just have too many rad memories attached to it.
- running into and riding with JPow on the Blue Ridge Parkway two days before asheville nats. he complimented me on the bike and rode with me for 30 minutes.
- not getting popped in the Tucson shootout
- riding it 45 miles to a 24 hour mtb race Rody from Groovy was hosting, watching him geek out on it, figure out it was Zen and not FTW that did the welds just based off of where one weld started and finished, and let me jump in his build line (the other bike I'm not selling).
- making it onto the elite podium at the Steel City Showdown
I agree. The scenery is gorgeous out here. Love riding and living here.
It’s a black 52. Problem is, I’m having pangs of regret even before posting it anywhere. I love this bike. I just don’t “need” this bike. Current thought is to “retire” it but still have it see use as a permanent basement trainer.
I was actually riding it quite a bit in summer/fall. Then, blew out my right knee in my fall soccer league and haven’t been back on it (or any bike actually) in the three months since my surgery. So, it sits. And that’s where the sale idea started.
Used to be a fundraising ride out here called the Covered Bridge Bike Tour. I crossed three of them this summer alone. I think I documented all on my IG account.
Back and forth with this decision but I may be in touch. (@ AngryScientist)
Long story but wife runs an ave of 35 miles a week but having back issues for around the last year. SHE brought up getting a “Peloton” type bike for the basement the other day as a result. Told her the only one I’d go for would be the Bowflex Velocore as I used to do a spin class on the RealRyder bikes and loved it. (Both tilt/move/turn under you)
If she decides “yes”, the 52 will be for sale.
I got a good bit of riding on it this past summer but everything out here is tar and chip surface, horse and buggy rutted stuff. Goal purchase to be a Ritchey Road Logic as I have a friend who works for them (no bro deal) but may do a Surly Cross Check fr/fork in the meantime as I have parts to build one up completely sitting around and won’t feel bad riding it and putting it away wet.
Could never let myself do that with the Skeletor. Heck, I only go out on it if the roads are bone dry and no forecasted rain. I’m a Dad without a lot of free time these days and that’s not a good recipe for me getting out on it as a result.
So? Thinking out load here on a public forum to try to give myself a nudge in either direction. I WILL have sellers remorse but in the same breath don’t want such a rad bike to be “Garage Jewelry” and not be ridden by someone who will have an appreciation for it.
