    d,
i picked up the 2 old bikes out of yr house today.
i left a $20 for the sachs and another for the zanc.
they are kinda beat but keep the change.

d rides exact same saddle height as i.
    easy deal.

Love the paintjob on your Spectrum. That red simply *pops* off the computer screen.
Mine is arranged similarly, Custom Super, full-Campy Record, Reynolds UL fork.
Springtime is here, enjoy it mucho!

Here are a few shots of the completed bike. This thing was a bear, but, boy does it work like the nuts!

If you have questions on how we did some of this stuff, let me know and I will try to get back to you below.

Tom, it looks like there are extra standoffs between the rear rack and dropouts compared with the earlier photos. Does this compromise the weight bearing capacity?

    Default Spectrums are so nice

Tom - I don't know if I have ever seen a Spectrum I didn't think was beautiful. You have the magic touch...

but the rack itself has very limited carrying capacity anyway. It is a Tubus Airy and is only intended to carry a small top bag at most. Our problem with the bottom mounts is that the Rohloff hub with a disc brake takes up all kinds of room down there. If we had moved the rack mounts up the stays to clear all the components, the customer could not have used the rack that he wanted without it being WAY high. It does work for its intended purpose.

T.K. back to the Rolhoff bike. Is that one of our campers bikes? So many things going on there buddy hard to start. I take it this cat intends to ride some serious miles.

ThasFace's bike is positively at the top of my list for fav. Spectrum race bikes. Bad to the bone. Anyone remember this bike before? If you do than you've got an amazing memory for detail. There should be a pic in the Before and After thread.

Appreciation for your fabrication abilities is easy when you make it look so...well...easy.

TT: Thanks. The Rholoff bike is not one of our campers'. His frame is all done, but I have to get the hub in and built up. The photo'd bike went to a guy who will be using it for commuting and general brevet/touring stuff. His reports back to us are kind of the over-the-top raving kind of stuff.

Yes, ThasFace's bike is a full-on race bike ... no punches pulled there. In that respect, it is like mine, just a lot larger.

By the way, your camps RULE! Great start to my racing season because of the camp ... no doubt. Thank you and everyone else who attended. You made my year.
