this bike was tempting myself and many of my cohorts at the track this weekend. gorgeous lugged wishbone seat stays. gipiemme cranks, old miche hubs, much old school goodness all around.

I’d like to introduce myself as a Spectrum owner, but mainly as someone who when doing nearly anything else, would rather be riding my bike. I now have two of Tom’s bikes, a Titanium Super which was built in ’93 or thereabouts, and the brand new steel ride designed for my dotage – and some touring, should I ever get there. The two things I’d like to highlight are the artistry that is involved in Tom’s creations and the pride of ownership that comes with a one-off creation. Alright, there are three things. It would be remiss not to mention the pleasure it is to ride the bike because the qualities of the ride, expressed through the design, address my criteria - with a few pleasant surprises. Okay, there's a fourth thing. And that is the way a bike can fit the moving target of an aging body. We all move on, but we must keep riding. Anyway, it’s all really wonderful. Thanks, Tom and Jeff.

Attached are two photos of my Randonneur. The primary color is a metallic lilac with metallic silver as the offset. (The reflections in the seat stay shot are from my neon green and yellow machine a few feet away.) Thanks to all.

OK, this is cool. Not the standard racing rig. I love it!

Cinelli lugs and Columbus SL tubing.
The lugs definitely have a distinctive, simple elegance to them.
The skinny tubes work well on a smaller bike.
    And the ride, .... AWESOME!

Just found this forum and what a pleasant surprise to see my bike posted here. Thanks for the comment!

I have this frame for 3.5 years now, and it still makes me smile every time I ride!

Default Suprise Custom Spectrum for Queen

During Va Spring Training Camp T.K. and I secretly plotted to spec. a custom super Ti for Queen. Everything came together yesterday when I pre-placed the finished bike at a pals house for Queen to "discover" ;)

Excuse the cr@ptastic video, I was not very focused and trying to hide the camera! High quality pics. forthcoming.

    Stellar work all around.
Fights begin, finger prints are took, days is lost, bail is made, court dates are ignored, cycle is repeated.

That is awesome! I love the way the camera angle is like a sky cam.
