It's a mount Seven made a few years ago. Exactly what it looks like.

For all your night time riding? :)

There's certainly plenty of space on the side which is awesome. You could put a gigantic flashlight there!

My particular setup isn't 100% done yet. I'll pick the bike up tomorrow and take some better pictures.

Presuming the steerer tube isn't tapered, what is the reason for going with an oversized 44 headtube?
Also, the Igleheart fork looks great.

You weren't the friend I thinking about, but that is the same mount, and you are a good pal.

    Thanks for sharing Ian.

The fork is actually a tapered steerer, 1 1/4 lower. I went to a 44HT just because it doesn't make sense to be there going forward. Plus with some future fork projects in the works I'll need it.

These photos are from the build up of our tandem. It arrived in the late spring but a big wreck (not on the tandem, all better now) kept us from getting too many miles in. Looking forward to the spring!

Got this frameset on friday, Mother in town so tucked the bx in the garage and didn't open til saturday morning. Woke up extra early so i could wrench, built a bike in 2 hrs ish, gotta be a record for me. Parts from the moved along Zank fit right onto this frame, fancy that... Took it for a ride in jeans and boots, today will be its first real day out...

A couple small changes, lower stem, different brakes and wheels, getting dialed in.

Are you using the regular CK headset that takes 1 1/8 fork steerer? The headtube-headset-fork proportion looks so perfect!

Yes, standard 1 1/8 HT with "regular" CK headset. Im sort of looking for a Seven 5e fork rake 42mm to try as that is what seven recommends for this frame, but it came with this Enve so ill ride it as is for now.

Love the Shamals vs the Mavics. What bars are those? Looks like, maybe, Easton EC90's?
