Do tell us about the ride. I'm curious about the ti-carbon mixed frames.

I have been on two rides with this bike so far on familiar roads, and one word that comes to mind to describe the frame is "rigid". The chain stays on this thing are massive, and everything just feels solid. I guess the trade-off is that it is not the most comfortable frame ever (especially compared to my Zanconato), but it is not harsh either. Once I get a new set of Campy compatible wheels (everything I own is Shimano /SRAM) and throw my usual 25 mm tubeless tires on there, it should be even better.

    Picture with the new saddle:

    The fat chainstays:

I also emailed Seven about the frame, and they were kind enough to send me the geometry numbers and the year the frame was built. It turns out it is a 2006 Seven Elium Race. I have to say though that based on the condition that the frame is in, it could pass as if it is 7 months old and not 7 years old. The Campy Record components are also in very good condition, except for a couple nicks/scratches in the clear coat here and there. I had to fine tune the shifting a little bit (it actually felt like cable stretch because it was shifting great at first and got a little less crisp after a couple rides, but now all is well again) and I have to say Campy shifting is outstanding. The ergonomics are another question though; I am still not a fan of the placement of the thumb shifters.

Another nice surprise was that it appears the fork on there is a Serotta S3 or F3. There were no logos or anything on there so I didn't think much of it when I bought it, but based on my research it looks like a Serotta fork. When I pull the stem off, I will check the steerer tube for any signs of what model this might be.

The rest of the components are Zipp Service Course SL stem and handlebar (in beyond black color scheme), Ritchey WCS carbon seatpost, Prologo Scratch Pro Ti saddle that I just put on there. The wheels are basic Mavic Aksiums which will be replaced soon.

    Seven Axiom SL
Brand spanking new. My first custom fit (to me) bike.

I am very happy with the results. The whole experience working with my fitter and Seven was a lot of fun. I learned a lot and cannot wait for the summer.

    Build
Campagnolo SR11 all the way around
Cockpit and post are all PRO (I like the irony)

Complete weight came in just over 16 lbs.

    Great looking SL!

The size difference between a 44mm head tube and a 1 1/8" is huge right?

Are those a new style of decals or is it custom paint? Looking to change the look of my SL.

I made the graphics. they are basically vinyl stickers. They are based on this logo from this seven which I liked. http://www.sevencycles.com/blog/wp-c...04/photo-1.jpg

I also had an alternate design that was one larger seven (and Axiom) logo that would wrap around almost the entire tube.

Can you make these in different colors, say bright orange?

I'm in Texas but my customer is an uber fan stationed here.
Waiting on King hubs to match then I'll finish the build. I'll repost. The Di2 Hydro setup is pretty slick.

Thank you Kokies for helping give my Axiom SL a much needed facelift.
Finally got around to fully refurbishing the surface, applying the decals, replacing the tires, chain, cables/housing, tape.
Just three hours later, I have a new bike.

    Bright orange.

I really like this bike; enough that I haven't ridden my Zanconato in over a month.
