Although I've got my issues with the company these days, I still love my Nove - whatever the reason, the frame combines rigidity and softness in a very satisfying way.

I freshened it up over the winter - HotTubes refinished it and replaced the many fraying blue & white decals with a few in silver paint; Ultegra 10 has been replaced with SRAM Red; The soft parts are white now.

Who else? C'mon, I know they're out there. The brand that dare not speak its name...

Mid-90's CSI w/ a bi-lam seat lug. I've since swapped the cranks for R700 Shimano's b/c the front derailleur adjustment was too finicky with the XC Pro cranks. Bars are now wrapped in white, too. It's been my commuter since the Ram is getting refinished. It handles incredibly well.

Riding out to Cabrillo yesterday. The Ranger at the gate told me she liked my bike. She asked if it was an old bike "like a dumpster diver". I just said, yea dumpsters give up some really fun stuff..........

Here's my '96 CSI, converted to single speed using the White Industries eccentric ENO hub. What a crazy nice riding bike it is.

Wish I knew how to make the picture larger...anyone know?

I hate to say it, but in my world that is pretty clean...

well, it only needs to be clean for the camera.

Well, that's true. Here's a pic of the same bike a couple weeks earlier. Different wheels and a longer head tube. The second shot was taken after I had milled down the head tube.
