Winter riding in Switzerland = much riding in the rain. Not a bad choice at all. I kinda miss the winter rain rides. Having the roads alone and all.

Here's my recently acquired new/used Colorado III. Probably will replace the Colorado III I have been using until now because this one fits better. Perfect handling. Perfect balance. Very stiff. No shudder or shimmy on this one. Gotta just about check to make sure the tires aren't flat. That's how smooth the ride is.

Just waiting to get some carbon paste for the PMP seatpost which will be going in soon.

The only thing I'd change here is the weight. Serottas are not known for being lightweight and this one is no exception. I doubt it really affects much in terms of speed on a ride, but picking it up I am guessing that this is at least 20 lbs. Maybe more. But I guess those good attributes come at a cost and weight is it.

But the steel ride is stiff and responsive.

    Jim,

That bike comes with a money-back guarantee—if you aren't absolutely, positively blown away by the way it rides, I will buy it back for what you paid for it (although you could probably flip it for more...). Can't wait to see it built up and back in action.

Curious what the CDA weighs in at? I assume that's a carbon rear. Digging the single color glossy paint.

Here's my 2002 CSI that was repainted a few years ago. Mostly Ultegra 6600 with DA brakes and Mavic OP wheels.

Might as well post mine here as well.

1986 (at least according to the Super Rec RD that was on it when I bought it) Serotta Nova. Had been repainted by the previous owner to match the ParkPre bikes of a team he worked for. I had it repainted as seen here and hung a mixed group of Campagnolo 10sp on it. Color is Matador Red Mica (Lexus GS series) I take it out on nice days such as today - 45mi with the club, a good part of it at the front of the group.

Just getting set up for its first ride, a few items need a bit of detailing, but man they crushed the ball on this build. Will post more when I have ride report and better photos.

Ben took amazing care of me on this and Grant at Signature did the drafting of the frame.

cuda2k -- Great pictures...and that paint looks wonderful. I would imagine that it is even much better in person. BTW, who painted this for you?
