Spoke with Paul today. He uses a custom dropout made for him by Wisecracker Ltd that is modeled on the Paragon hooded dropout but has hoods that are not as deep. Paragon hangers are used.

Cool, thanks for the update. I got 2 sets from Paragon 2013ish time frame that Paul had to give PMW permission to sell, I used 1 set and still have the other here somewhere.

Got out for a rather gnarly overnighter this weekend and came away loving this thing more than I already do. Perfect for smashing through jeep tracks, babyhead rock gardens, rooty single/doubletrack, and dirt roads

Great color choice by the original owner - and great pickup for you!!

After my first ride this morning, this thing is definitely a keeper. My kids have said so - there’s no overruling them.

Brad is a toppie - such a nice guy, offered to meet me halfway to save me some driving. The market is crazy - which worked for me in this instance. Was tempted by yours last year - so was glad to be able to scratch that itch this time.
I couldn’t believe it hung around that long.

I love it but, if it fits Brendan as well as it looks like it does, it probably won't fit me - he rides a longer and lower setup than I'm capable of achieving! I'd need something more akin to yours and Rick's old one...

Rich, it’s amazing this bike fits like a glove. Was a little nervous at first as the previous owner had a 100mm stem and 4cm less post out.

Loving the way it rides. Need some nicer wheels - that’ll happen but otherwise it’s a keeper.

Dope. I hope you're still using the same tubes from the Capitol Forest ride.

I've, fortunately, replaced those cursed tubes...

    Yeah, a two-fer.

Getting ready to put several bikes on the block. Wife wants to strike on what will no doubt soon be a depressed housing market and make a move... so I am going to cull down to these two and two others.

For you... ifn' you want one... I have my gateway drug Rock Lobster that will be for sale soon... 56-ish full on CX race bike, rim brake, seafoam green! I don't know what size you ride... but if it's 56-ish... well... we could work something out!

I'm 54-ish, so no go (my wife would also kill me if I added anything else right now). Enjoy the new bikes!
