It's very easy to spend more on a bike but a whole lot more difficult to end up with one better than this. #bestbangforthebuck

I tend to forget about it sometimes which is a shame as it is indeed a great ride. For someone that wants a custom frame on a budget you cannot go wrong with this.

Absolutely. I love my Rock Lobster. Paul is a true master and his prices are exceedingly reasonable for what you get.

What tubing did Paul use on that?

Fwiw when I picked up my frame, Paul remembered Lionel as "that French guy who wanted that weird tubeset."

Actually just dropped the stem, went from a -8 to a -17. I'm a roadie first and just more comfortable with the drop and I can still get my butt behind the saddle on the technical stuff.

Also put back on the 27.5x2.0s and took it on MTB trails. Got a few looks from a group on FS bikes...

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

Sorry it's not a bike pic, but I'm too excited and had to share!

New (to me) Rock Lobster, out for a shakedown ride this weekend. 110km and 1300m of climbing and I'm smitten.

Here's one more. Waiting on a 130mm stem before doing the final fitting and chopping that fork.

Rock lobster no2 in France :)

I find offloading on a road bike not ideal in this region though!
