Almost done, had a brain fart and picked up the wrong adapter for the front caliper to work with a 160. Currently has WTB Nano 40s and there appears to be room for fatter rubber.

Took it out for a quick shakedown ride in the neighborhood. Still getting used to the fact that there is an inch less drop on this bike versus the Gaulzetti but that may be nice when I hit technical stuff. Managed to get the rear end loose on the dry stuff a couple of times. I can tell this bike is going to be a lot of fun!!

I dealt with the same thing on mine. But like you said, when it gets technical you won't miss all that drop. That is why mine also has less drop.

When you come down here we may want to think about heading up to Ocala to hit some singletrack. The yellows and blues can be ripped. The reds in/around the old limestone quarry pits are a bit much even for monster CX rigs but there is plenty of other trail that is fun.

They are Nano 40s. Easy to set up tubeless and roll well on pavement. Still trying to get the pressure right, was in the low 40s today and they were great on the road but I could really break the rear loose. Will try dropping them down to the mid-upper 30s for the ride tomorrow.

Thanks, interested in more detailed reports. I am considering switching to these for Reno to Mendocino

I'm also curious about how much they stretch out. When I initially mounted them on an 18mm internal width rim, they measured out around 38.5. Since mounting they've stretch out to a little over 39 but I'm curious to see where they are after some rides.

ok , I would be mounting them on narrower rims, my DT carbon disc wheels, which I forgot the inside width of.

From this morning. Damn, Paul makes a great bike. Took a bit to get the feel of it and then started to really let loose.

I've been riding mine with 28c tires for the past few weeks instead of my road bike, and Paul knocks it totally out of the park. 50 thumbs up.

    +1.

When I got my Zukas the first few times I rode it at the beginning of the ride I'd think "I kind of wish the bars were a bit lower." but after a few hours I thought "I'm glad the bars aren't any lower." Plus, I can comfortably ride in the drops for long periods of time, even after being on the bike for 4+ hours.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?
