Hey Flash I cannot wait to see your Rock Lobster. Is it painted Tar Heel blue?

I love Carolina blue. But I'm not one of those guys who needs it everywhere. I mean, most of the time all I need to do is look up. God is a Carolina fan, if the sky is any indication.

Yea, Paul will help you as much or as little as you need in the geometry dept. I told him the TT length and the approx. headtube length adapted for a taller fork. I wanted 44mm tire room on a monster cross SS bike. He nailed the rest of the geometry. That thing rides like it is on rails. I love his blue, orange, black, and old school yellow for the road or mtb, but Celeste/Seafoam is the only color for one of his CX bikes. Paul really knows his stuff on making a good riding bike.

You could get it....but it would be a snapshot of a full size drawing. I learned that he does everything full scale and draws it by hand....none of that bikecad stuff.

I asked Paul to send me my drawing. I might frame it and hand in the man cave.

Think I've been lurking here for about five years and never posted. This seems like as good a first post as any, though!

Damn. Nice introduction...thanks for coming out of the woodworks. What color is that? I can't tell if it's more of a cement gray or a gray-ish blue. Props for the gold bits and the restraint to not also add a gold chain (and I love gold chains).

Thanks! It's called squirrel grey, so more cement than blue. I wasn't sure about the gold bits, but think they ended up pretty cool. Chain definitely might've been a tad too much, though...
