Thanks. Bar & stem are both Cinelli Dinamo. Richie's choice.

Hot off the press. Frame arrived two weeks ago, build completed today - SR 12, Neutron Ultras. Crappy cell phone pic does not do it justice. Very happy.

The snowier-than-usual winter is making it an epic year for potholes in Seattle.

    Nice bike, too.

I've had about 5 different groups on this bike and countless different wheels. This is
likely the last build for at least another 20 years.

    Love it.

The pinstripe tape on the bar tape is excellent...

    Hi There!

Finally my dream came true. I'm absolutely in love with this bike. To be honest i did not wonder that a "traditional" lugged steel frame, with steel fork and that tubeset could be so very well balanced, with a great handling, a nice stability and a perfect balance between stiffness and confort. I was totally wrong and, as Mr Sachs said, "technology is a poor substitute for experience".....when you ride this kind of bikes, you immediately understand that the craftsmen perfectly knows how a modern bike should ride. I've patiently waited my 7 years queue but i'm glad to make it.

The RSCX frame is fitted with the following equipment.

ZIPP service course sl "trittico" (in Italy trittico means the bar/stem/post combo)
    CRANKBROTHERS candy11 pedals
Roval slx24 wheelset (22 mm wide) with Dt swiss 350 hubset
Panaracer gravelking tubeless tyres (love it!)
Selle San Marco Aspide superleggera (love it!)
Cranks and cassette are made by an italian company Ingrid...34 teeth on the front and 10/46 cassette (11 speed on the back) completed with sram shifters and rear derailleur (waiting for the Ingrid solution)
Cane creek headset and Rs Cinelli made bartape
    Avid Ultimate shorty cantis

Grazie Riccardo, my only concern is that "our boy" cannot see the bike in person....we know how much he loved your work.

I acquired an odd frameset that has an early Richard Sachs fork (verified by R.S. himself). It came on a fairly early frame (mid-late '70s) that is definitely not made by Sachs. Presently looking for a better frame to pair it with (54cm).

    Hi Bob,

Nice looking ride; orange is my favorite color. You could paint a $10 Huffy orange and I'd be happy, but seeing a nice Sachs in that color is great! I'd prefer black decals, headtube; but that's me. I love the black components; need a black cassette maybe? Mean looking crankset!

Yeah, the old Tappan Zee is gone. I travelled over it by mistake a couple years ago about a month before it closed to open the new span on my way south, I always screw up at I-287; they never did send me the bill. I guess the "photo" tolls had already been shut down. I had to sit in traffic for an hour just to cross over and turn around to go back the other way! Two free crossings, yahoo! Probably have a suspended license in NY now for not paying! That used to be my old North-South travel route. Where is your photo from?
