    Mosaic GT-2

Many thanks to Justin at Black Oak Velo for working with me to implement what I wanted in a new frame.

Another huge weekend riding the GT-1 around Litchfield County. I still haven't flatted yet and with this bike I can descend on dirt faster than racer types on a mountain bike. The Seven was amazing, this is a bit better.

The welds on the HT are crazy. I know that it isn't a performance indicator, but it is the visual litmus test for a beautifully crafted bike, in my opinion.

I usually hear about Brad from Bingham/Built as being the grand master of this skill.

Same bike, different tires. Perfect for these trails.

I still haven't flatted. Probably 4,000 miles on this thing.

How did we get from August to late Oct without a Mosaic post?
    Looking forward to this...

A picture of a pdf on a computer screen doesn't quite do justice to their vision for the frame.

Got a little something cooking with Justin/BOV? We need some deets, man.

Yup and he's teasing me on his Instagram!
650 "gravel" bike to accommodate 47s, SRAM 1x linked to a proprietary Tesla-designed chip embedded in my brain so I can keep the bars absolutely clean! Dyno lights, and a butt-load of attachment points for bags. The paint is an homage to a 70s-era Ford Bronco that a guy in my town has.
Rumor has it that it will even be capable of planing :)

Fantastic. I saw the BOV wheel build teaser. Tell me more about the Tesla designed chip. Does it get over air updates automatically, or do you need to go to the dealer every few weeks for updating? You may want to consider regular shifters. At the least, they'll give you a place to hold onto when you're railing corners on those simultaneously tiny and giant 650Bx47 tires.

It's entirely possible that I may have something in the works with him that is both very similar and also totally different.

PS - Post a pic of that Bronco in the autos thread...love me some old Broncos.

I've been thinking about a bike in Ford Calypso Coral (aka Poppy Red) for a while. Good choice on color inspiration.

Umm...how many bikes are in your fleet? I thought the sub-fleet of Gaulzettis was pretty impressive. And how come this one gets the frame pump?

Strongin's fleet is the worst. All would be fabulous second-hand bikes, none are even close to the right size.
