Seatstays on the Speedvagen are done by Vanilla; all the welding on the Speedvagen by Mike DeSalvo

That's the same heat effect you see at all the tube joints but misplaced there. The effect you see at the final frame is done right before the clearcoat is applied. So what you see is not the color effect from welding itself but just from a second heating of the welds long after the frames have been made

The 10th anniversary color scheme is real understatement. No immediate eyecatcher but together with the high end craftmenshipship a long lasting source of pleasure.

The steel fork adds a very subtle touch to the ride feeling that I have never had with a carbon fibre fork - even not with an Edge fork.

Two years on and lots of miles - still the best road bike I've ever had the joy of owning. Such a great deal for the lucky few who scored. Any more 10th Anniversary bikes out there?

mine is here in my hotel room; on the way to providence (just got in to youngstown, oh from stl. louis)...

actually -- mine started out as a 10th anniversary, but then we (i) ended up modifying it quite a bit and so it ceased being a 10th anniversary bike.

somebody asked for a picture a while back -- here it is in front of me:

A little color together with white and black makes the bike much more vivid...

Felt compelled to post these after today's treat of a ride. Bike is fantastic, would love to try these wheels on all my rigs.
