My new JKS, ready for some good miles. Thanks again DK and JB!
That is, by far, the best Kirk I have ever seen. And there have been countless fine ones.

That one speaks volumes to me. A real race bike.

    Very, very, very nice!

Looking through the pics in this thread reinforces my opinion that Dave Kirk puts the sexiest looking seatstay cluster in the world on his TerraPlanes!

This bike has been on a forum here and there in my many reinventions, some rather untoward. Clip on fenders and a seatpost rack...even a Bob trailer...
Here it is, closer to what it was originally intended. Pardon the fender line, they're plastic fenders (one fine day it will have honjos, but this is what it has right now.)

Gorgeous bike, love everything about it.

    Nice touch with that stem.
I don't think I would ever want to get off it. Lol

Arrived sometime in February. JK Special from Dave. As with the Strong, a HUGE thanks to Tom Palermo (cement shoes) for offering to help with cutting the steerer tube and an equally huge thanks to StephenCL who helped me cut it and get the contact points dialed in. And another thanks to Stephen for taking the pics (I'm a bit of a Luddite and don't have a digital camera and, I apologize, I don't know how to resize the images to make them a bit larger). I love the Salon and the incredible folks who hang out here.

Dave and Karin were amazing to work with. I can't say enough good things about them, and it was a real treat to be able to meet them in person at NAHBS.

Some of you know the backstory (mountains of student debt and modest salaries) to this JK Special and the Strong (and there's another treat coming - I have an absolutely incredible wife). These bikes have been a loooooong time coming.

Thank you to Dave, Karin, Stephen, and Tom. Most of all, an ENORMOUS thank you to my incredible, amazing wife who I love more than anything (though cycling is a *very* close second!).

Fights begin, finger prints are took, days is lost, bail is made, court dates are ignored, cycle is repeated.

    Matt,

Again, you are the man. Would love to see pics of the "triple threat" too, all three of these beauties (Kirk, Strong and mystery bike) all lined up next to one another........

    Great bike Mat.
Those tires look cooler on that than they do on my Cannondale. They are worth the $$$.

Hopefully the rains washed enough of the crap off the area roads for you to get out there and ride the snot out of it.

    Nice bike!

You like the grey coloring I see.

Now to choose which bike to ride and for what....such decisions. :)
