    Steve,
check out www.purelycustom.com for some cool spacers and caps. The silver is a nice look.

    Bill,

    Thank you for the suggestion!

I just purchased a set of Chris King silver spacers to match the headset.

    Default Here's one of mine..

Sorry for the ultra-crappy cell-phone photos, but I have the bike here with me at work and I'm a bit bored... The black is impossible to photograph anyway.

I'm the third owner of this one (owner #2 had it for a week). It's a 60cm Terraplane w/ Record and Reynolds hoops. The stem was made by Dave for the original owner. This was the first bike that Dave and JB did with stencilled logos. The levers desperately need a re-build...anyone know where I can buy Red springs? I'm interested to give them a try...

    Cheers,/B

Nothing too crazy...just a set of Nitto "Dream" bars from Rivendell. Not sure what the Nitto number is for that model, but they're super-comfy: reasonable reach/drop with nice flat bottoms and conservative ramps. Probably not racy enough for some of the old-school folks, but at least not ergo.... :)

    Default Fillet Kirk

One of the most comfortable, most responsive bikes I have had the pleasure to ride on.

    Hi Tom,

I just saw these. Stunning bikes! I am particularly intrigued by the fixed Kirk with stainless lugs and fork crown. Any close-up pictures? Thanks.

    John

P.S. I don't know Debbie has a Kirk too. Way to GO! :~)

    Hi John,

I have a few close-ups, but they do not do the bike justice. I will try to shoot a few soon and will send them to you via email.

Yeah, Debbie has a Kirk. She is going to start riding it more this Spring. . . . So she says.

Best to you and your family.

They are not stainless actually - they are all chrome plated.

Does this mean there will be a Kirk tandem coming? :-)

    Thanks Tom.

    Default Incoming from DK...

I won't be able to build it up for at least a couple of weeks since I'm still waiting on some stuff, which means that I'm going to have to make do with a bit of heavy petting in the meantime.

This is going to be _sweet_.

[Build will be: Red, WCS bars/stem/post, LW's]

    Hi John,

No tandem is in our immediate future. But, I hope that one of these days, Debbie will want to ride together on a tandem. She plans on riding more this Spring.

    Best,

    Tom

I saw this frameset hanging in a local shop before it ever got built. Original owner was Vlad Luskin. Glad to see it found a good home!
