Very sweet, it does like to have the bag installed, otherwise cross winds will blow it around a bit.

When I got my custom Icarus track bike, I vowed to never buy another steel track bike. But there are two exceptions: Yuki Konno-made Specialized Allez and a Vogue.

Love that red Vogue. Please post a close-up of the downtube logo.

From the "made in japan" feature in Jitensya-Jin magazine:

    VOGUE Brand Profile
Vogue was started in Arakawa-ku, Tokyo, by Yasuaki Kobayashi who was then with Toei,
and Hiroshi Takahira, who was then with Everest. Two men from the top factories of touring
bikes and racers joined together in this way. Vogue later moved to Ofuna, Kanagawa, and Kobayashi
went back to Toei. Now Takahira leads Vogue by himself. Having been a racer he understands the
ace racers requests and appropriately incorporates them in the design. Vogue bikes have quiet
colours, but they have a strong personality. Accredited by NJS.

    Builder Profile:
Born in 1949, Hiroshi Takahira was with Everest for 12 years and learned the basics of frame
manufacturing from the top factory of custom made racers. He became independent in 1980.
He supplied a bike to Masatoshi Ichikawa, the first pro racer in Japan during his Hitachi days.

    Factory Profile:
Most orders are for track and road models. Orders for touring bikes are accepted too.
Delivery will be about two to three months after receiving an order. The price varies
according to the models and the kind of work required. The basic price is from 110,000 yen
    for road and piste models.
