The Corvid (which feels like an unfortunate name now) is round tubes with very decorative lugs, though, so itís definitely not that.

Nice bike, but can we talk about those bars/levers?

At the height of the Covid lock down with in house production at a standstill and our key domestic suppliers closed, we imported a few carbon wonder frame-sets and finished them in house. What do you think, should we do a run of these painted-to-order in house? For the geeks out there: Toray high modulus fiber, ISO certified factory, wicked light and stiff, blah, blah, blah...
Alongside the Shimano 12 speed thread, this seems timely. With all that is going on, what's a small bike making company to do?

    Not.

What a shocker.. Can't believe they put their name on it [literally] to be honest..

Yes, I understand it has been a brutally tough year for any SMB, but to sell out like this is something that will haunt them..

Keeping this thread going. Made a few tweaks to the IF, loving the new Vittoria Corsa tan walls. Also, included the IF's younger, fitter, brother in the picture :)

Iíve been wanting to build this one for a while, and so this winter I dug out the build sheet from my old Crown Jewel (not made for me but fit like a glove) and sent to IF asking for something similar thatíd fit 35mm gravel tires. First ride today and had a multi tool in my bar bag, expecting to make some adjustments here and there and I didnít have to change a thing. Will probably halve the spacer below the stem and get the fork cut in a few months but other than that, I think they nailed it.

The second wheel set for it are FulcrumZero with the 32mm slick Panaracer/Excel tire that have been discussed around these parts. Iím expecting it to really jam on tarmac.

I also like the 46/36 cranks as it allows me to use both chainrings a little more equally for these old knees.

Holy &!$* - that's one of the best IFs I've seen. We need more steel rigs setup this way, especially given the tire options and tubeless setups have open the door to modernizing the classics a bit. Hey, I did my first legit gravel race on my Sachs CX with 35s yesterday and won the darn thing, received multiple comments on the setup.

So proper. Strong Geekhouse/2000s Boston CX vibe going on in a good way. Like bikes I coveted ten years ago. I miss my IF.
