    Also a big tree...

Got a little bit of wind yesterday and it took this one down. The bike is 3.5' tall so the tree is ~4.5 across. That rootball is massive.

Nice bike, what fenders are you using?, does your frame have fendermounts?

Impressive to think that is a plant. Equally impressive when a tree that size gets chopped up and it takes a serious machinery to move the pieces. Massive.

Good two-part read in Rouleur - although seems to be written about four years ago?

International post can be slow, but that's ridiculous.

They're just re-posting some of their back stacks on the web site from time to time. This one coincided with the publication of a piece on us in another UK magazine which Rouleur feels is mirroring them a bit too much.

Whatever.... Good to see some press on IF.

For me 'the cyclist' combines product reviews and ride reviews alongside the weightier journey pieces that Rouleur created
A niche with..... But turns it up a notch (plus it's cheaper)

Club Racer disc arrived. I know there are plenty of people who are not keen on red bikes, but it makes a great high-vis colour for what will be built into a rainy weather full fender fixed wheel build.

    I got a nice T-Shirt too...

    That looks classy.

Love it! What's the plan for running a disc brake and a fixed wheel?

The plan is disc brake on the fork, no brakes on the back when fixed. Have a rear Eno (eccentric) hub to achivee chain tension in lieu of sliding droputs. I had a rear disc mount put on there in case I want to run it with gears someday. Would have to be singlespeed or wireless gears though as there are no cable guides on downtube for gears to keep it clean. Future proofed for wireless you could say...

What is it w/ people not liking red bikes?? Is it an evil cult or something? Red bikes are on the good side of the Force. Dont trust these people.
