It's a Salsa Moto... With the CJ 25.4mm TT it looks better than the Thomson I had on there....

Dylan races CX for Polartec on 4 IF Corvids, and this is his first fat bike (he placed 2nd in his first race at Gunstock which was the first time he rode the bike!). 45 North helped out with a few of their newest bits. Running a 5" tire up front and a 4.5 in the rear to help with float in all of the deep snow.

This one is a 29+ built up by our own Phil. He calls her Rosie and has been flogging it non-stop since she was completed a few weeks ago. We went out last night on the hard packed snow-mobile trails and she's fast. More on her here.

I'm lusting after Corvids in a big way at the moment. Nice.

I'm also battling my dislike of red bikes with the delicious (regardless of its red-ness) steel Crown Jewel on the IF Frame Store page right now - a slammed 120mm x -6 stem (and a switch to a set of IF-special 3K weave Enve forks) and it'd fit like a glove... Any other colour and it'd probably be en route to Sydney already.

I need to get over this semi-irrational dislike... Or just buy it and respray it in a couple of years.

Only rode it a few miles home from the shop, but the new hood shape is fantastic.

These are the old 24mm version with the center green stripe (dirty though.) I prefer these to the newer version, ride-wise. I've got the new 25's on my 'winter' wheels.

Jason, the corvid cross is just sexy. Two questions: 1) The bars, pro vibe 7 round right?; 2) specialized (zertz!) fork?

It's funny, they are actually a Specialized product (plug & play I think). They are nice and thick and a great feature is a flat on the extrusion where mounting points attach. The flat will help avoid stress risers that come when you bolt to a curved aluminum piece. I think they were all of $50 and I stole a flap for the front off of a set of SKS fenders.
