Do it. Just ride with someone who is slower. And tastier.

Raw Ti with decals. It can't hurt to ask whether the decals can be changed eh? Sat waiting (im)patiently for an answer...

Fresh decals on raw ti = yes. Easy. Add in a refurb and it'll look like a new bike.

Sorry to confuse you SpeedyChix - it is a new frame (from the IF web store). I'm just waiting for IF to get back to me to determine whether they can change the decals on it (plus answer a couple of other questions)!

Doah. That's what I get for a smal screen / single post look. Congrats on the incoming frame. Love the ride of mine.

Well, I haven't actually bought it yet either (a few things to clarify / resolve first), but an equally premature thanks regardless! ;)

Too late now. You've been congratulated on a public forum and we all know you'll love the bike. Seems like payment is just a formality at this point. Plus even if they can't change the decals, it's a pretty good looking frame.

Here's a bit more to encourage you to take the plunge. Road, dirt, gravel, trail…fun riding.

Oooo that looks good. Need some details. Perfect for me and that Bad Arse IF Ti travel bike I love a little too much.

Encouragement of this nature is entirely unhelpful (helpful?) - particularly when I've just had such a dangerous, and equally encouraging, reply from IF...

And when I remind myself of this post...

Perhaps boringly, probably just black or black & white - although I have enquired about the cost of paint (unlikely though it is that I'll actually take that option).

Purple isn't listed on their options, but that might be outdated. I'd be tempted by purple & white if available.

painted via templates...... but the beauty of std decals on raw TI qis that you can replace easily when worn/damaged as i have done....
    purple would look good though.

You guys aren't helping with the IF lust I have as of lately ... How often is that web store updated?

Blow up and pin a picture of M. Bartoli on your wall. When you achieve that position, stop. Until then, stretch, ride, stretch, ride, eat less, and ride more.

I check in on it every month or two and it doesn't change too often. The sense I get is that the bikes are generally show bikes that went unsold, and the frames were maybe ones where the original buyer backed out for one reason or another.
