They are 28s, I'm running them 95 rear and 90 front and I think the stiffness of the wheels work well with the suppleness of the tire, but what do I know, they were what I had in the basement.

Spaceman rules, bring him beer. Anything without a bike on it.

Riding fenders in the heat of summer feels strange but it was nice to get off the race bike and back onto the IF. My favourite view of Wellington.

Saw this monster - probably off to the scrap yard.

Thanks! Yes it's basically a Club Racer with discs. It a 58 ST with a 0.9 sloped 586mm top tube. There is a full writeup from when I built the bike here... funnily enough I'm usually a constant tinkerer but not much as changed on this bike since I built it. Do it once, do it right I suppose.

I love this bike- most of the time.
    Singlespeed makes you suffer.

I had a good ride today on it. Every once in awhile- the moons aline have you- and you find yourself with the right balance of fitness and finesse. I ran a bunch of climbs- but I rode a bunch too. And technically I was good: it is so rewarding to see good riders you respect, walk/bobble/dab stuff you just rode.

Woah, cool! Bontrager meets Dekerf. Do you know the story on that rear end? I don't remember seeing another Deluxe like it.

Spaceman- my favorite mech. One of the best, if not THE best, in NYC. Davinci with the spanner.

I know the spacer thing isn't popular here, but this isn't built for me so spacers make it work. And I was thinking 2cm of spacers only but Spaceman looked at me and said, no maybe 3cm. And 3cm turns out to be right. So that was an application of wisdom there that saved me from myself. I'll just pretend it is a Pegoretti with an extended head tube/dropped top tube/whatever. I don't drink and so I don't buy other people beer, but I need to get over to Veniero's and pick up a box of pignoli cookies for delivery.

There isn't another lime it, Tyler built it for himself. One of a kind thing if you will. He is doing the Firefly rear end similar.
