Put this together over the weekend, Eriksen-built Hampsten-designed Gran Paradiso. Roughly equal to a 60cm. Now it will probably sit for a month or more waiting for suitable weather before I can get it on the road.

Simple build with parts on hand. It's all about the frame. Need somebody with a better camera, and a better eye, to do this justice. Some really cool tubing manipulations everywhere you look.

    I think it's beautiful!

Thomas, Is that a new bike from Hampco Towers or just new to you? Either way, nice bike.

Ah, that's great to know; I didn't think the Eriksen-built option was still available from Hampsten.
Perhaps I'll still be able to kill two Ti-frame bike lust birds with one stone...someday!

Thought I'd post a pic of the trusty Strada Bianca with a new set of wheels and tires—Hed Ardennes SL wheels with 700C x 35mm Compass Bon Jon Pass tires.

Best-riding wheel + tire combo I've ever had on the bike. We've come a long way since the days when Jack Browns were the go-to tire in this size.

So meaty. The tires, I mean. I don't have Ardennes, but I do have a couple sets of Belgium rims and they ride great. Sharp looking bike, happycamper.

Did you go back to the Seven 5e or is that still the Serotta fork?

Good eye! I switched back to the Seven fork in order to get more clearance. The Serotta fork could maybe handle a 30mm tire (or a 28mm tire on a wide rim), but the Seven fork has a lot more clearance. With skinnier tires I prefer the ride quality of the Serotta fork, but with a fatter tire you can't tell the difference. I think these tires were pumped to 50psi in front and maybe 55psi in the back.

Mmmmmm Campy on Ti. I see too much Ti dressed in Shimano. Lovely build, looks just right. those Compass tires ride so sweet, i have tried up to the 32s.

    Love this

There's a great article about our heroes in Issue 51 of Peloton Magazine. Just found mine in the mailbox.

Went out to grind some gravel before watching Strade Bianche yesterday.
Cold and soggy, but my Hampsten thrived!
