My first Hampsten, new frame with old parts. Rides like a dream. I seem to be the limiting factor.

Went out Saturday for 30+. Halfway point took me to a new university ( Florida Polytechnic). Interesting building and made for a nice backdrop for the Hampsten.

There are several. A gathering would be great but I don't think I could keep up with you young skinny guys.

Question for Hampsten owners: How many of you own both a Gran Paradiso and a Strada Bianca? Made of same material? How much difference in the ride characteristics are there?

Reason: I'm thinking of getting a GP ti to complement a SB ti travel bike. Love the SB and would love to have something a little more sporty for faster rides, more climbing, etc.

    Thanks for any info.

A shot of the MAX at the Palm Beach Inlet looking out towards Peanut Island. A beautiful day.

Updated from a carbon fork to a full stainless fork, built by Dave Kirk. Rides great and the build quality is really nice.

I'm trying to find something to not like there, failing. Well done!

I was drooling over this bike only recently. Visually proper, IMO.

I wish I could have found one of the carbon (Parlee-built) Tournesol framesets in my size - dream (fendered) bike.

Is that the stainless fork that Kirk was just showing on FB? That thing is Jewelry.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

Are you guys blind? There is one thing that is obvious way wrong with that bike. The plain eye can spot it in one second, that ain't my garage. That is what is way wrong with that bike picture. Tip of the hat to you, Hampco, and Mr. Kirk on that one. Well done.

The only possible (and perhaps costly) drawback with this perfection is now I'm thinking of putting one on my SB Ti...

Nobody has both a GP and SB to compare? Surely there are some double dippers lurking here who could discuss the finer points of the Hampsten catalog offerings.

    Why not just ask Hampco?
