The Hampsten aesthetic is something special:

    aes·thet·ic esˈTHedik/

adjective: concerned with beauty or the appreciation of beauty.
"the pictures give great aesthetic pleasure"
noun: a set of principles underlying and guiding the work of a particular artist or artistic movement.

Yup, Hampco towers is an artistic movement! You don't have to make Fernando's choice: "it is better to look good than to feel good" because w/Steve, Andy and Co you can do both.

I'm sorry - I'm a little hard of hearing in this ear. Could you repeat that?

But obviously my customers have impeccable taste. I simply channel it for them.

Holy smokes Hampco, does that orange bike come with Macadamia nuts and hula dancers? About his size , and he thought he would slide one by me.

Good morning all. Just wanted to re-introduce this bike here. I picked it up from James at the end of April. He previously picked it up from Steve from a garage sale about 2 years back. The bike was built up soon after Memorial Day. Details includes full 6800 group with Ergott built WI T11's on Pancenti SL23 (v1). It's my first steel bike and it rides beautifully. I picked up a seatpost with less set back and the fit's spot on. It's somewhat of a garage queen with about 400 miles. Went out for a nice River Road ride this morning and got a flat (found some NYC scrap metal in the tire) along Riverside on the way back so I snapped this pic after a quick change. Thanks Steve for building a great frame and thanks James for putting it up on sale

Nice to see you're putting some miles on it! We have to make good on riding together at some point.

Unfortunately due to road shoe issues, I'll get to ride it for the first time on Tuesday. I've been on the Lobster for the past few weeks. Riding it around town in Vans to make sure I'd built it right felt pretty damn good, though!

Went exploring Saturday. I need more practice and advice on riding gravel. It's nice being out and only having the birds and gators for company.

And don't forget the damn snakes. I used to run on some paths like that around Sarasota. Damn snakes, I no like. But no respectable snake would ever go after a Hampco cause I heard Steevo sprays them with antisnake at the Towers.

1500 miles in, and I love it as much as the day I got it, if not more!

In case this hasn't been seen by folk here:

#9 in of a series of 10 - the rest of which can be found here: Eleven Vélo's Instagram

Steve - Let me know if yourself or Andy would like a print of this and I'll get it sorted with Gerard.

Thanks :) The bike's aesthetics far outpace my riding abilities unfortunately.

Thomas, it's a GP and Steve painted and destickered the Enve fork to match the frame.

I would stab someone with a fork to get one of those...

Somehow I missed that pic. I just picked up an original Merckx 7-Eleven Team bike and Gerard is putting together a 7-Eleven_vėlo jersey for me. Can't help but think this helped a little with the inspiration.
Maybe I need a Strada Bianca in Huffy colors to round things out.
