That seat cluster is making my pants oddly tight... some pretty sweet fillets there.

Another option for a disc fork is to use the new MAX crown with Columbus MAX blades - not light but certainly burly. I like the Wound Up fork with this frame as we wanted to keep the weight down but maintain front-end rigidity.

And some nice pictures there, Martin! We should talk...

Went out looking for some gravel roads to try. This one only went so far and I had to double back to find more.

Non-glamour shot of this guy. This bike is so much fun to ride it's sometimes hard to believe.

    +1.

Of course, there's also the red/white 7-Eleven, the 7-Eleven red/green Merckx tribute, the solid Belgian blue Max, Christian's pistachio SB... and my ti Gran Paradiso. So many favorites....

Better weather brings the Hampsten MAX out to play.

Like that painted Seven fork on that SB Max beauty. I'm thinking of getting mine painted to match the rest of the frame, which is titanium. Not sure who to send it to, though.

In the spirit of my other post-refurb status, here is my SBTi after about 3000 miles since it was given a Hampco freshen-up.

In gravel road config currently. Tonight it's going back to Schwalbe One 28's mounted tubeless.

Current look to my Strada Bianca. This bike rides like a dream, and fits me really well. It is however a bit heavy, which is ironic considering I bought it to take to Europe to climb mountains. I think playing with wheels and tires could make a bit of a difference in that regard. And I wanted the SB design to make it a do-all bike - which it truly is.

It's funny, though - this bike was supposed to calm down my bike lust. But every time I ride it, I start thinking about getting another Hampsten. Maybe a ti Gran Paradiso brother for the Strada Bianca..., now wouldn't that be nice? Or a painted steel La Dolce Vita? Or, or...
