I think that's our New Off-White - a 50/50 blend of 8001 White with 90990 Vanilla. "Whole Milk" could be a good name for it, apologies to the lactose intolerant.

Quick IPad pic of my new Hampsten Max painted Fiat Verde
Build is just about finished...cables cut but nothing tuned.
Finishing is the usual homage to the HampCo aesthetic - Brown Fizik saddle and tape, Ultegra Post, Shimano BR-R600 brakes, Compass Stampede Pass 32s, Thomson stem and Deda Zero 100 bars.
Should get in a ride this afternoon or tomorrow...accordingly, better pics to follow as well.

Here's a pretty unique Hampsten. It's a lugged "Team Pro", made with Columbus PegoRichie and Sachs dropouts. Steve and team apparently built it for a gentleman in Colorado who was a _big_ Laurent Fignon fan. On top of the Gitane decals, it has "L. Fignon" on the top tube. Parts are all ~2006-2007 Campagnolo Chorus alloy (with carbon levers). Wheels are Chorus to Reflex via DT db spokes and Michelin 24mm tubs. Cinelli bar and stem and a NOS Selle San Marco Rolls in yellow. I don't think it's done too many miles, as the previous owner had a reasonably large collection of bikes. It looks new to me.

Promise to get a better picture outside soon. It's still very very snowy here.

Can't wait to see that one in person. Speaking of rare Hampstens, I'll have to find a photo I took of a lugged road bike in 7-11 livery that Steve had built by John Slawta. One of the riders on a Cinghiale cycling trip had it delivered for the trip. When I asked Steve about it, I didn't get the impression that it was something he was going to repeat—something of a vsop.

Have had this in hand for a bit, but finally got it on the bike and out onto the road. Mootsy goodness with that special Hampco touch: I debadged this 30.9 Moots Cinchpost I picked up across the hally and Steve refinished it to match my ti Gran Paradiso's brushed finish.

    Steve knows aesthetics! Mmmmmm....

Don't ride that in WI in the snow. It might rust!

BTW, what's the thing behind the chainstays?

Yup, very concerned about ti rusting:) Temps finally above freezing and the roads are dry (but covered in whatever chemical mix they spread now because people don't know how to drive in snow) so I had to get number 1 out onside. I can tell from how quickly the green stripes on the Paves turned white that it's important to keep the bike clean of all that nasty dusty stuff. Heck, maybe it could corrode ti!

What you're seeing is the top of the Blackburn frame pump I have old-school style along the left seatstay. Solid as a rock there; visible in most of the other action shots of my GP posted various places here.

Before I looked at the photo I had a fleeting thought of someone with a tt frame pump [U]and[U] a seatstay pump -- belt and suspenders guy. Of course, one could also carry CO2 for triple protection:)

Nice Hampstens. Remember, the new Max is almost perfect sizing for me so you know who to contact first....

Hello, am a long time lurker. After many months of admiring the beautiful bikes on this thread, I requested Steve to build me one as well. I asked for a GP in Ti and the result has been beyond my wildest expectations. From the ride to the decals to the welds, everything is just sublime. As everyone else has said, it was a real pleasure working with Steve.

This bike just loves going uphill and is completely unperturbed by gravel or rough pavement. I think it's going to end up upstaging my carbon wunderbike even though it's heavier (I haven't weighed it and don't intend to). Even the LBS loves it, and I got free service in exchange for a ride around the block :).

Looking forward to many miles on what I think will be a lifetime bike.

Nicely done. That view in the first photo doesn't suck either.

I thought I would throw my MAX back into the mix. A TBT (6 months ago) fence shot on Sugarloaf Mt. Rd.
