Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

I saw he was on the finishers list but didn't talk with him during the ride.

New shoes for the pig. Found a pair of HED C2's with White Industry hubs for a great price. I know it's blasphemy but I may be done with upgrades! Now I just need to find time to ride.

I bought this on the forum a little while ago and built 'er up with Campagnolo Super Record Limited Edition RS, and it replaced a Trek Madone 5.9. Needless to say, it is great. I love it and after a couple hundred miles I am finally getting it dialed in properly. It rides... well it rides wonderfully. Holy smokes. I'm going to be racing on it a ton next season and I'm glad it is up to the job.
I still need to sort out some aesthetic stuff like bar tape color and probably blacking out the Enve logo on the seatpost. A good project for this winter. Right now I just want to ride the sucker!
    Hampsten GP Ti.

I'll post more pics later but here's a couple to get the ball rolling.
