As I understand it, the silver Ritchey Classic parts are 2011 models, should be available later this year.

I ran into a carbon Tournesol rando bike on Saturday and was just absolutely blown away by it, sadly no pictures.

yeah, the few carbon rando bikes we built sure were sweet - frames by Parlee, assemblage HampCo

there's a rumor going around that custom carbon is coming back to Hampsten Towers, can neither confirm nor deny at this juncture

Here is my new Hampsten Max.. Steve was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. I am thrilled with how it turned out; I really wanted it to have some pink somewhere and the bands were my idea and Steve executed them better than hoped. On top of it all, it arrived on my birthday thanks to Steve. Edge fork, 7900 build coming soon..

    Thanks Steve!

Looks great. Strong. Classy. Lots of work on the tube shape.
Happy Birthday and many happy miles.

What color is that? Interesting blue. Is the actual color like it looks on the computer? I wanted my Hampco Max in pure Giro Pink, but yours is a stunner.

    Moke,

Thanks. The color is Memphis Blue from Co-Motion with a pearl coat added. It is pretty close to what you see on the computer only it has more shimmer, esp. in sunlight. I am thrilled with how it looks, a shade or two darker than powder blue which is what I was after.

Look forward to your Max; I rode it for the first time this morning and it was fantastic.

That Max is a thing of beauty. Shape and proportion of the tubes look so right. Looking forward to your pics once assembled.

Built, still a bit of a WIP but pretty much there. Rides as hoped..color is amazing in sunlight; it was pretty overcast when these pics were taken. All said, I am very pleased with it!

Here's my Hampsten that arrived a couple months ago. Steve was great, and the execution on this bike is fantastic.

Full set of photos on Flickr, if anyone's interested.
