Greg, stop over to see Steve. He finished my Moots post to match the brushed finish on my ti GP. Perfect match.

Of course, now I'm running a straight Eriksen post vs the Moots setback so my finishes don't match. Too much going on this pre-season to send it to him, so I'll have to put that on my off-season list for the next time around.

    And another nice blue bike:)

You lost your frame pump and saddle bag on the ascent of the Aubisque! Go back!

Smoke signals from the Towers are indeed exciting! Awaiting pics!

Me, I'm still in the deliberating stages. For some reason my Gran Paradiso Titanio is feeling extremely dialed this summer, and I'm having a hard time thinking of what could make me smile more....

Port du Lers - riding with my wife = tool bag and pump
Aubisque (and others) - riding with Col Collective group = take everything off the bike that you can

But, heck yeah, I'd go back, now that I've started to recover from two weeks of riding 620 miles in the Pyrenees. I was cooked by the end.

I finally made a pilgimage to the Madonna del Ghisallo a few weeks back. Apparently I missed the induction of Andy's '88 maglia rosa into the Museo del Ciclismo by just a few days, so when I asked the staff about it, they eagerly pulled the jersey out of a back room (where it was waiting to be put on display) and brought it to me. They also insisted my family and I sign the Hampsten page of the guestbook. Awesome people. Amazing experience. So honored.

Hampsten was an inspiration as a kid. It was great to ride past his corner.

The red frame, from what I can see of it, looks very nice.

Has it only been two days? Or is it really a whole two days? Some of us may be as eager as you to see pics - and a full description of the bike/build and how you and Steve got to this choice.

I'm getting ready to take my Hampsten to Italy for the Cinghiale Alps and Dolomites trip--cannot even say how happy I am about this! I feel like I've actually earned riding my bike on the Gavia this year because earlier this year I rode (partway) up the Iron Horse Trail (which eventually takes one over Snoqualmie Pass) on gravel, in the snow. So I was pretty much just like Andy in '88, right? Right...

I'll try to come back with some decent photos, as well as pics of my husband's new Hampsten. His feelings--"I can't believe I waited so long to get this bike."

I also do this. Tell myself I have to earn it, blah blah ... at long last I get the good thing, and only then remember it's about valuing my time as much as I can every moment.

A hampsten is a pretty high value. Good for you guys, have fun on your trip!
