Pretty much broke ALL the bike photo rules with this one. In my defense, this was taken on the Gavia, and I was too tired to even turn my bike to have the drive side facing out.

A little reminder to myself that next time I want to have good enough form to take a better bike photo :)

And after 16 months and a 3,000 miles, the bike is still a dream.

There is no bad side to your bike. I too looked at your photo stream. That tour was not for the feint of heart. Well done!

Thanks :) Itinerary here: Alps and Dolomites 217, TLDR | Me Bike Dolomites One Day

Gotta say, one Hampsten brother makes amazing bikes, and the other runs amazing bike tours. It's still a little unbelievable to me that I've been fortunate enough to experience both.

Rules? We don't need no stinking rules in Hampco land! Except, of course for the good taste and judgement Steve helps impose on those of us who may go astray with some potential ideas/choices...

Great photo and great bike. I have the Hampsten, got to spend a little time with Andy twice, and a Cinghale tour is still on my list.

You make that sound like an apology.... Sounds perfect to me -- as long as vino (beverage, not Khazkh) is also part of the picture!

I actually think this is great, and the stuff looks totally usable and appropriate. Seriously. That jacket is the stuff.

Not to mention there is a cinghiale on the shoulder of each.

This Hampsten Strada Bianca by Moots blast from the past frame/fork was looking for a new home and it was, well, just my size. It's pretty fun and I look forward to getting to know it better, particularly on forest service roads with these Compass Bon Jons (35c tires are definitely overkill on the road, at least for me). The ybb and those wide tires definitely take the edge off. I road it with the ybb locked out today with some Campy zondas and 25c tires and was pleasantly pleased by its road personality; an easy bike to just ride without any drama.

Current build is a Mix of Dura Ace 9000 and Ultegra 8000 - this new shimano mechanical stuff just shifts so nice. Paul's mini motos at least for now. My favorite ti post and a moots stem that doesn't match the post very well - anyone ever polish/scotchbrite a moots finish to get it more like a satin finish?

This bike will summer down in Bend and give me another good reason to go down and visit my son who just moved there.
