    That's how I roll...

Yep Gun Metal w/lime. From what I've seen so far the combo looks great. James or Craig would have to chime in on the complete bike since they are the only ones to have seen it so far! I will post some more pics after I receive the bike on Monday.

Sorry not the best pics...Love the build quality(frame is from the first production batch in Mass.) The ride is as described...perfect. For all you vertically challenged folks, this is the production 48cm with 2012 Athena build. I came from riding 51cm frames but the 520mm TT on the 48cm fits great. Still getting handlebar height dialed so excuse the unsightly tall steerer Still deciding what hubs to go with my Nemesis 28H wheel build...Once I get those suckers I will be all set for some serious base miles this winter.

i'm really not great at ride report verbiage - i've only had like three nice bikes in the last 10 years so i don't have much to compare to. another problem is that i tend to trust the collective wisdom a lot, so when i read about what a pegoretti respo is supposed to do, or what a gaulzetti is supposed to do, i kind of assume that other people have it nailed and in these two examples, they seemed like what i wanted. with respect to both the peg and the corsa, i think the collective wisdom has it right.

as far as i can tell after a short spin, the gaulzetti bike feels, as i just wrote to the builder, "mean and alive". the respo is a more sweet and kind going down the road. with the corsa, on my short little shakedown spin, with very tired legs, in kind of shitty weather, i just really wanted to sprint to pass cars, hammer to shoot up hills, basically all the fun stuff that i can do for about 15 minutes before i want to lie down or throw up with my heart racing. so in short, it's really fucking fun and really fun to go fast on. i assume that's because it's well designed, it's light, it's stiff, it's aluminum, it's pink, etc. etc. but really i have no idea why it is that way because i don't have any experience to understand all those kind of things at more than a cartoonish level. but like i say, it's really fun so far.

as for the handlebar, it's a monster. i am not picky when it comes to that kind of stuff, so i don't know what to say other than it's thicker than the other handlebar i have, and it's carbon-fiber-y-er.

i can try to have more coherent thoughts after more riding, but for the moment i will note that if you want to enjoy going as fast as your legs and lungs and heart can take you, buy one of these bikes. they're awesome.

Come on everything - I know there has to be new 'zetti photos out there. Post them up. Or if you've had it for a while - post a new photo. Just do it (yes, I just quoted Nike).

A recently finished build after a few tweaks in saddle height; bar/stem combination; and a change of pedals ordered up by Boss Hogg. I am really looking forward to spending time in the saddle! Thanks to Justin for going through great lengths to deliver this one to me; and to airedale and cs124 for sharing the excitement! I used to race a Pegoretti, but being too young and too foolish, I sold it to a bike collector. That was >7 years ago, and the Que Nao Se Ve remains the only bike that I think of like an ex-girlfriend! I've gone through a few bikes since then; each time trying to find that rare combination of qualities synonymous with the good times I spent racing the Pegoretti. I think the Corsa finally rekindled the fire! A modest build by all accounts with Campy 10 speed; SRAM Red BB30 cranks with FSA 50/39 chainrings; Mavic SSC brakes coupled with Classics SSC wheels; and a Concor Lite to top it all off; it's everything I could ever ask for!

Fresh out of the oven Chooey - looks hot! I've been waiting to see the finished product.

Glad it's all come together for you and it was cool to put a face to the name and finally meet you a couple of weeks back.

    Next time, we ride.
