Itís basically an Ultegra Slate with every conceivable part upgraded, including the frame. I had an Ultegra Slate until recently, and I have to say, for the price, itís a lot of bike. So much fun to ride. If youíre ever up this way youíll have to swing by and take this for a spin.

New wheels - DT Swiss Oxic + Conti GP5000 tubeless - ride really nicely and look suitably semi-retro with low profile rim and standard spokes
Also, Acorn trunk bag since I don’t do all day rides but nice to have some cargo space

Handsome bicycle and build. Like the 1 1/8” headtube.
Two questions- what fork is that, and are you using short or medium-reach brakes?

Itís a custom Chis Igleheart segmented fork to replace Seven 5e with upgrades to function incl. multiple rack mounts, connectorless son dropouts and a bit more rake

Mid reach calipers (VeloOrange) so can run up to 35mm measured - currently 32mm

Rides great for me and what I wanted - stable and comfortable

Good buddy and teammate showed up on this today (the giant one on the right). It was his maiden voyage and he's one happy customer. I am still am too with the relatively tiny one on the left.

PS - @Firefly crew, there were pretty much endless jokes about how you must have run out of titanium tubing trying to make the bike.

    LOL!

We are still stocked up on tubing! Another big order just arrived last week.

So don't worry, we have plenty left for Willy's and Gonzalo's bikes. Tell them to sit tight.

What about the other 8 guys who are in the queue? I'd love to tell them that they have to wait because big Tommy took all the long tubes and Gonzalo took all the little ones that were left. I guess we'll get to send you one hell of a Firefly ride photo sometime next year.
