Thanks for your help Justin. Really very valuable.

Abraham has been great too. My wife's enjoyed sorting out the details with him.

Total respect to you both for how you engaged with my wife as a person.

Looks outstanding! Can't tell from the photo; where does the rear brake cable run?

I think (I have yet to see the bike in person) it runs internally through the down tube and then exits at the bb to run under the chainstay? I’ll fill in the blanks this weekend after we pick it up. If my wife will let me touch it.

Here it is. Seems like a really nice bike. She's already ridden it in Central Park just to make sure the wheels didn't fall off and check position. We'll probably make some adjustments after a few more rides, but she's not sending it back. The top ring above the stem is custom anodization from a VSalon member (I apologize for not remembering the name but I am still not fully recovered from my bad cold so my brain is mush) and says "Wonder Woman" which she likes a lot. Thanks then goes to the maker.

Rear brake hose routing is exactly as described above - enters down tube on the left side and exits before the bottom bracket then runs along the chain stay to the rear brake. All the welds on the bike are pristine. Highly skilled work.

    Jorn,
If I had $5.00 for every bike I bought for my wife that I was sure she would love and ride with me I would have ...$20.00.
I’ve given up hope (she’s just not into it). Great looking bike!

Not to sound like a broken record, but Justin Bagnati is the guy. I just sat in a chair and read bike magazines and only spoke when spoken to. Before that, all I did was give up trying to get her to ride.

Nice looking bicycle. I hope she likes it.

What are the bands that finish the bar tape on either side of the stem?

    Reflective pinstriping—a Signature signature.

The bike looks great! Hope to see it in person one of these days.

    Thanks!

Maybe at the Farmer's Daughter Gravel Grinder? She's was checking that out the other day. Don't want to ask too many questions.

Trying many new (to me) things at once.

Checking out Tyler's bike at the NE Builders' Ball last fall, I noticed the textured paint on the front end. "A test" said Kevin.

The finish is somewhere between gas grill and bedliner. The fork, stem, exposed area of the bars, and a portion of the front triangle all match. Hard to photograph, it's like a black hole.

Mix of XTR, DA, and Ultegra for the clutch RD.

    Onward...
