I remember some of the naysayers out there saying that there was no room for another custom Ti builder. Good to see that so many have been sold.

These are fantastic looking bikes with so many cool custom details the seem really functional.

Tyler. Be honest now. What do you think when you get a reaction like that?

After riding Jacobs bike and seeing this one, as well as all the others, there is no way on earth I am going to my grave without owning a Firefly.

    Hey Tyler,

I noticed you all have changed the ISP from this (on my bike):

    to this:

What was the thought process behind this change? Are the double bolts up front more secure?

Yo Bobby! Thanks for asking. The double binder up front is more secure. Firstly, the frontal placement redirects the stress (especially with the offset post in this application) away from the binder bolt itself. This bike also has much thinner tubes (on the ISP and the seat tube itself) than yours so it is even more critical. Secondly, because the new double binder is taller it distributes the load over a broader area making it so you don't have to tighten it very hard to achieve proper clamping force. Always learning... always evolving... always moving forward. Hope this helps to answer your question.
