Gotta' say the matchy-matchy Brooks Cambium saddle and tape looks really sharp.
I think since my butt is accustomed to Selle Italia SLR the new Brooks C13 might work.
Cool pics you have posted, StR. Sweet bicycle.

Hi Friends. So the only thing better than a firefly is a firefly with brand new Super Record!!! I've been on carbon and electric EPS all year till today and I must say it was refreshing to get on ti and mechanical. These frames ride so stellar I can't even say. Super Record worked great and it was great to see all the small ti parts that won't rust since I ride this bike in less-than-ideal conditions. Oh, and while 32 spoke Ambrosio rims aren't the fastest - the silver record hubs and tubular tires give it a ride and look that is so often under appreciated.

It was a great ride today. Sorry about the pic filled with shadows.

Great choices: Seven Mid-reach fork with eyelets, Velo Orange brakes, S&S couplers, and the crank? (type, rings, other pertinent info)

Life is too short to ride uncomfortable bikes
N=1 (custom Seven Axiom SL, mid-reach brake, 28mm or larger tire, fender mounts, pump peg, and 11x32 cassette)

Thanks, it took a while to figure out what bike I wanted but went with 'New England semi retro' theme (that I had to just make up) with US made parts where feasible, otherwise Italian (except brakes)

Frame - mild tt slope (4 degree), mid reach brake, threaded bb, 1 1/8 head tube, couplers and slotted cable bosses for all cables, eyelets for fenders and light cargo
Crank - square taper White Industry VBC because I like threads, narrow enough and big choice of rings (front shifting definitely suffers vs native campy crank but sometimes I need much less than a 34t)
Brakes - Velo Orange Grand Cru with Yokazuna cables because I hear good things about this set up
Other components - Campagnolo chorus (just sensible choice for me)
HSet - Chris King enough said
Wheels - debadged Fulcrum zero nite c17 (because I prefer the spoke pattern on rear to Shamal)
Bars - trying Easton EC70, look good but haven't ridden yet
Post - PMP based off old Selcof cradle design (ie rock solid)
Saddle - Brooks C13 as I just like narrow saddles for some reason

i.e. No disc, tapered steerer, pressfit or other 'modernizations'

Frame detail is amazing - I didn't even enquire about butting as I thought couplers ruled that out - really subtly done, slotted cable houses are perfect and give me clearance for couplers / slot in barrel adjusters, construction is of course perfect but finishing touches really make it personal for me e.g. my surname in Campagnolo font, my wife and daughters name in Chinese character etc. Also, the guys are great to work with as is already well known.

As to why Firefly? That is a tale of love, patience and sacrifice over many years that would not inform a gallery thread in any way.
