New website is a major improvement. I also like the sort feature on photos. Wish you had that when I was doing my Firefly as it would have saved me some time and aggravation choosing my spec. -Mike G

#531. First ride tomorrow. This thing is beautiful in person. And it's so much lighter than I expected. Not that I expected it to be heavy, but it's noticeably light.

Oh my! Can't wait to see that one in person! We may need to get all the local Fireflys to come out for a ride at dusk.

    Drivetrain cables are extremely heavy.

( i knew this would be light.)

And it looks smaller than your other bikes.
I came here for the socks.

Matt, can you please remove that ugly piece of green tape. It hurts.

Oh, you guys...this is the behind the scenes, pre-makeup, non-studio shot. I hadn't even ridden it around the block at this point. The green tape was put on by the guys at Firefly so I knew where to position the post. It will come off after today's ride when I know it's in the right spot. The saddle will likely be replaced with a Prologo Nago Evo, but I didn't have time to mess with that last night and I'd rather ride it today, ugly comfortable Flite included. As for the wheels, the Mavics destined for this bike just haven't come in yet. They'll be more subdued. But I really like these wheels, so maybe they'll stay.

It's a touch smaller than my Gaulzettis and a touch bigger than my Zanconato. Saddle position is the same and reach is within millimeters, though, so it's probably an optical illusion caused by how much lighter the bike is than I expected.

Anyone riding those ugly fiziks isn't entitled to critic other people's saddle choice.

It was sent to me mostly built, so I'm not sure of the frame weight. I'll try to compare the full build to some of my other bikes later to see where it stacks up.

Spoke too soon. Here's one of me carefully leaning it against a wall for some #baaw action. Photo courtesy of willy.
