Gorgeous bike; also interested in those tires. How do they measure out? When do find them to be at their best? When would you use them; when would you not use them?

    Inquiring minds and all.....

    hello teleguy,

will use them every day, just wanted to try something wider than the 25mm Roubaix I use normally.
they are a bit over 26mm on the widest point, so not 27mm like they say.
for now I can't use them, broke my elbow on my last tour and Iam off the bike for some time. ;)
yesterday a friend showed me this "review"

Remarkably easy. The bar tape is Fizik and it's got a fake-leather finish. As part of the cleaning routine, it gets a shot of diluted blue simple green and a wipe down. Takes about 12 seconds between the tape, brifters and saddle. That bar tape has 2,500 miles...

Stefan, I must have missed the info about your accident; I do hope you have a full recovery as soon as possible. I did find that review when I was doing some R&D on the Vlaanderens. Thanks.

Geez - sorry to hear that. Hope the break isn't too ugly and heals quickly.

Didn't your touring partner break something in Romania? Maybe you guys need a third person on your next tour so someone is left healthy enough to call Medi-vac?

thank you guys for the wishes! arm feels already pretty good after 3 weeks plaster. now without plaster, can use the arm passive but not active they said.
next week rehabilitation starts, looks like it is important, since there is the chance that you can't stretch out fully or bend in fully the arm.
for example last friday i was not able to touch my nose with the fingertips, arrived only 20cm from the face, today i can place already my hand on the face.
    feels good.

Jorn yes he did, we are doing our own Firefly Bones project.

Maybe follow a P-R winner's approach.... I think proximity to childrens' toys is optional.

And yes, rehab is very important -- be diligent.
